We were so thrilled to head to San Jose’s HP Pavilion last week to see Disney on Ice’s production Dare to Dream! Mostly because we are HUGE Rapunzel fans, as Tangled is probably our favorite Disney move to date! The stage was set and my husband took his 3 girls out for the night.
Disney On Ice: Dare To Dream Get tangled up in the newest thrilling show to hit the ice, Disney On Ice presents Dare To Dream. Experience Disney’s hilarious hair-raising escapade, Tangled; as Rapunzel, her unlikely companion, Flynn, and Maximus, embark on an uproarious journey that takes adventure to new lengths! Boogie to the beat of the bayou with Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen from The Princess and the Frog, in a magical, musical journey that all begins with a fateful kiss. And fanciful dreams become reality as Cinderella meets her Prince Charming, with a glass slipper fit for an unforgettable fantasy come true.
We enjoyed the night filled with princesses Tiana and Cinderella, the hijinks of Flynn and Maximus, Rapunzel and Mother Gothel, lanterns, hair, dancing and skating and had an overall wonderful time!
Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen are a few characters and a story we are probably least familiar with in the Disney world, but watching the singing and dancing, and costumes, and the colorful characters, it was truly our favorite act of the night.
The set for Rapunzel was dramatic, the tower, the hair, the aerial feats of Flynn and the princess. It just made us smile and our hearts were filled with excitement! We mouthed every word to the songs!
Cinderella is a classic, we loved the horse-drawn carriage and the mice were adorable!
I cried when the lanterns were a-glow!
For the final act, all the Disney princesses, princes, horses, and Mickey, Minnie and the gang came out all in white for a dance number that was just icing on the cake!
It’s a must-see for kids of all ages, boys and girls!

THis looks great! We just went to our first Disney on Ice show right before Christmas, and it was really good. I thought they did a great job, and it was fun to see characters like Maximus!
