I prefer shopping online to going to the mall any day. I don’t have to drive in circles to find a parking spot, beat the crowds in the stores, wait in line for the dressing room and cashier, and I can do it at any time of the day! I recently window shopped at Tea online and needless to say my cart was full in a matter of minutes. I had visually spent $500 at all their adorable Girl’s Clothing and stylish Women’s Clothing.
The Tea Collection in a nutshell…
We designdistinctive fashion collections inspired by the beauty we discover in our travels around the world. From the iconic art and architecture of Barcelona to the graphic boldness of Brazilian street graffiti, we interpret our discoveries into beautiful, dynamic styles for children, ages 0-12. We launched our women’s collection in the fall of 2010 in that same spirit—easy-going, culturally-connected styles designed to fit your life.
Everything we create—our products, images, words and ideas—is inspired by going there and being here. And by our passion for exploring different cultures. We are awed by the unique beauty and diversity of people around the world. As we celebrate and share our discoveries, it reminds us how small the world is and how alike we all are.
Our Take: We had the opportunity to review a couple of pieces from the Girl’s line and the Women’s line and we were thrilled beyond belief! Being Mexican, I was happy with the Marimba Mini Dress, developed in southern Mexico, it’s so great in the teal and green I wished they had a dress in my size! The color looked great on my daughter’s tanned skin when we were in Hawaii and she loves it so much she wore it to the first day of school! The length is great, the colors do not bleed in mix wash, and it’s 100% cotton, easy to take care of! We’ve gotten so many great compliments on the dress and my daughter loves the flower pattern!
I tried out the La Marina dress in Willow. It’s cool knit fibers are good for wearing alone with a great belt in the spring and summer, but can be paired with leggings or jeans and worn in the cooler months. The dress has a v neck that I love, I don’t care for necks choking me, and this flowy dress is so comfortable I could sleep in it. My husband really loved when I wore it to the luau in Hawaii, it feels good on my skin, and belted it really flatters a figure showing off nice legs! (forgive the wrinkles in the photo, I had been sitting in the car before we took it!)
