Around our house you’ll find little art that isn’t our own personal photography. Growing up, my husband’s mom took photographs of everyone and to this day their walls are covered with familiar faces and memories. This is something my home has as well, and recently I added the newest piece of personal art from Gallery Direct for the holidays and I’m thrilled with it!

It was gorgeous and I think I shed a tear!
I have to admit, I could have cropped the photo just a tad more at the top because the sky was very light to white in the photo and it blends into the matting, but you live, you learn. Now I had a spot to put it amongst other beloved photos…
But it was so grand it needed a better spot. Like I mentioned, it’s our Christmas photo this year and why not let it be the focus for the holidays above our mantle and wood burning stove?
