I’ve been a coffee purist for most of my life. Starting at about age 8, my grandparents began offering me coffee with milk and sugar, it was normal and traditional of a Mexican family. It became a necessary part of my day when I was in college, but I stopped using creamer and black with sweetner was my drink of choice. With so many different options nowadays in coffee houses, I still stick to my basic coffee but am slowly branching out to different drink styles and flavors.
Recently I have been trying lattes, especially with holiday flavoring. The warmth of the drink plus the seasonal spices really have been fun and festive. I was also introduced to the iced latte from Green Mountain Coffee®, a brand I know and love already!
The Espresso Roast Iced Latte comes in two flavors, vanilla and mocha and offer an authentic taste of a latte from the coffeehouse. This special blend uses real milk, cream, and 100% Arabica beans for bold, smooth espresso flavor.
Chocolate and coffee are both necessities to my life, so the mocha flavor was a no-brainer and would hit the spot for a daily pick me of up! It’s delicious! Nice chocolate flavor, but not overpowering, it’s a perfect balance of espresso and mocha flavors!
Now it’s your turn to check them out, find them in the store’s refrigerated section by the milk and let me know how you like it! Try it, you end up with about 6 cups for the price of one at the coffeehouse! I found mine at Walmart, but they’ll be a many more major retailers soon!
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Whitewave Foods, makers of Green Mountain Coffee®. The opinions and text are all mine.
