With so many choices to dine on the strip in Las Vegas, let me tell you a few reasons you should visit Trevi, an Italian restaurant located inside Caesar’s Palace.
1. Location. In the heart of the strip, Trevi is located inside the Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace. Whether you are a guest of the hotel, staying off the strip, or are a local, with the array of top of the line clothing, accessories, and sundries that surround Trevi, it’s bustling atmosphere is exciting! The people watching is fascinating and you may even spot a celebrity!
2. Fountain-side Dining. The Fountain of the Gods is truly a sight to see, and to be seated next to it can be romantic. We enjoyed it, our seats faced the fountain and it was a calming as we sipped our wine from their grand list. Towards the end of our dinner, we noticed our seats were closer and we were talking louder. It’s considered family-friendly as well as it isn’t a “shh, let’s be quiet and not bother our neighbors” type of restaurant.
3. Large Portions. Voted best Italian food in Vegas in 2013, we shared a Pizzetta Trevi, which is a rosemary flat bread with garlic and parmesan. It was a great way to whet our appetite and we were poured generous glasses of wine (La Fiera pinot grigio). My husband ordered traditional Lasagne and the sauce was rich with meat, each bite a layer of cheese/pasta/meat goodness! I ordered Penne Diavolo with sun-dried tomato sauce over chicken. The “diavolo” or devil sauce had a slight kick to it, I love anything spicy! My husband must have been hungry, because only I had leftovers that made for a delicious late, late night snack! Verdict: deserving of their award!
4. Excellent Service. Our waiter checked on us frequently and the manager even paid a visit. Also, our original reservation slightly conflicted with a show we had tickets for (not realizing our walking time). The staff was helpful and seated us an hour early without any problem.
5. Trevi Time. From 2-6pm daily in the bar, it’s Trevi Time, aka Happy Hour! Trevi bites (appetizers) are $6 and some wines by the glass, beer, cocktails, and their Classic Bellini are half off! We didn’t cash in on this event, but is the first spot we will head back to on our next visit!
Our visit was hosted, gratuity and opinions all our own.
