We recently returned from an amazing Familiarization tour to Las Vegas thanks to winning the Allegiant Air Blogger Contest! My husband and I were treated like VIP’s with two other amazing couples for a long weekend of 5-star dining, top rated shows, and relaxing experiences!
Allegiant Air flies out of Monterey, California, a regional airport that is laid back compared to the likes of San Jose and San Francisco’s hustle and bustle. If we could, we’d fly out of Monterey for convenience and ease every single time.
We’ve flown Allegiant to Las Vegas 3 times now and the service is impeccable. Twice we’ve booked online and the website is clear, concise, and easy. Did I mention that Allegiant Air has phenomenal prices? For an hour flight from Monterey to Las Vegas, we’ve paid as low as $150 round trip for 4 days, some rates have been as low as $39 for one-way!

Getting in and out of the airport is a breeze, we’ve encountered maybe a line of 8-10 maximum at the desk. Then we’ve walked right up to security and from belt removal to putting our shoes on it was less than 5 minutes! Prices in the air for snacks and drinks are comparable to other airlines, but often we’ve encountered specials for a combination of a cocktail and a snack that really makes you smile! Even leaving Vegas on Allegiant Air, all passengers had checked into our return trip home, we boarded and were in the air ahead of schedule!

I would travel to Florida – since thats where my allegiant flies to! 🙂 We use allegiant to fly there every winter to see family and love how affordable it is.
I would go to Florida because that’s where Allegiant flies to from my local airport and my family has a time share.
And if I win I would go to either Vegas (for the POOLS in summer) for LA because I have friends there. Depends on the time of year I go:)
