If you know my mom, you know she likes to venture out early each Saturday morning and find bargains at yard sales. Weekly she comes home with bags of clothing for my younger kids that she boasts, “were only 25 cents each!” Sometimes you can tell they’re only worth 25 cents with holes and stains, but often they’re really in good condition, and even sometimes new with tags.
Yard sales and thrift stores aren’t the only places where you can find bargain name brand kids’ clothing! thredUP is an online kids consignment shop, where you can save money (and time!) on all your favorite children’s clothing brands. You’ll find GAP, Gymboree, Mini Boden, Ralph Lauren and much more at up to 75% off retail prices. thredUP clothing is hand-selected by quality assurance specialists, packaged with care and sent right to your door. That means you’ll lighten your family’s carbon-footprint and save money – all without leaving the house. And the best part? When your little one outgrows her clothes, thredUP wants ’em back!
Order a thredUP bag, fill it with quality outgrown items, put it on your doorstep, and earn 20%-40% of each item’s resale value. It’s a revolving door for kids clothing – out with the outgrown, and in with the like-new!

Our take: We had the opportunity to shop and I love the site. It has everything categorized by size, for girl or boy, brand, etc and punch in a key word like “skorts” and you’ll find an array of cute skirts with attached shorts! What did we get for $20…2 dresses, a skort, and a pair of shorts! All came clean, ready-t0-wear, and in fabulous shape. The quality was apparent, the sizing was to a tee, and flaw-free, only gently worn. Best of all, these are all clothes that I would normally buy not something that will just work for now, they’re practical for everyday wear and for the season and in the style my kids love!
I just ordered a thredUP bag and plan on stuffing it with some great items from my daughter’s closet that she’s outgrown. Maybe I can make a few dollars at the same time. Check out thredUP at https://www.thredup.com and on Twitter, https://twitter.com/#!/thredUP and find some fabulous bargains or make some cash today!
We received a code to purchase our items, all opinions are 100% ours.
