I’ve reviewed Fresh Produce clothing before, http://www.jenisonajourney.com/2010/11/holiday-gift-guide-fresh-produce-womens.html.  Their line is becoming a staple in my California-girl wardrobe, but I recently took the clothing to the next level, can it go to both Hawaii and Hollywood and still hold up it’s name in comfort as well as style?

I took the Pintuck Tank party dress to Hawaii and wore it un-belted with low heels to a Luau.  It was so comfortable and worked perfectly.  Last weekend I belted it in silver, added some silver hoop earrings and wore it with heels to the Lion King 3D movie premiere and after party in Hollywood and I think I rocked it!  I took a shot with a celebrity and really got nice compliments on the dress.  The length goes just below my knee, but belted it’s above and it allows for more “leg!” I love wearing it two ways, the belt gives my figure a more flattering appeal.  The scoop neck allows for adding a pretty necklace as well, but my accessories are usually under the impression of “less is more” so I would normally go belt no necklace, or no belt with a necklace, that’s just me.

On a day to day basis during warm weather, I’m a tee and shorts girl.   The Tahitian flower Ruffle V-Neck Top was perfect for everyday California and on our last trip to Hawaii.  The v-neck is always comfortable to me, and I like the short sleeves, closer to a cap sleeve. I’m self-conscious sometimes of my upper arms and the sleeves help me with that, though white tops with a fuller chested figure appears to make me look heavier.  I’m going to start straying from white on tops for that reason.

I also tried the Dockside Shorts and LOVE them.  They are so comfortable and I love the color of seaglass against my tan skin!  The cargo pockets look cute and though I don’t trust  putting my phone in the pocket because they are a little wide without a flap closure, I enjoy just putting my hands in them.  These I could buy in all colors and wear throughout the summer!

I still love my safari style capris from last review, need to look into a nice few tunics for the fall, and some more daytime dresses for more of the press trips I’ve been attending.  Fresh Produce is my kind of shop, check them out on Twitter and Facebook too!
