Last summer, our trip to New York City was epic and our photos hold the memories of that fantastic experience! There was one shot that we took from the Liberty Island cruise and it’s one of our favorites. You can see the World Trade Center towers front and center, and you can see the Empire State Building in the far left. We looked to Gallery Direct for another fabulous mounting and chose Acrylic Glass.
Why Acrylic Glass?
- UV-curable inks printed directly on Optix® DA Digital Acrylic panel (no adhesive used)
- Outstanding clarity, vibrant colors
- Hidden hanging mounts that that allow easy installation
Check out this short video:
To mount the acrylic glass, the art supported by simple, brushed aluminum standoffs and invisible hanging mounts to give it a floating effect. In this case, four holes will be made in the wall, so make sure you are certain where you’d like your art to stay.
Like all our Gallery Direct art, it comes packed very securely in bubble wrap and another layer of paper to protect the acrylic from scratching. It does scratch easily and if you scratch the back side it does affect the print, be careful when handling!
Installation was quick and easy with all the supplies needed were a level and a screwdriver. The acrylic glass is streamlined and with the silver finishes it’s a clean look on any wall in your house or office and would match just about any decor.
With four points securely in the wall, I don’t mind having the art over a couch or chair, and it looks fabulous in our living room! The 32X24 size is perfect and we may even pair a few other similar photos of our trip nearby!
