You’ve heard me sing the praises of Otterbox products in my reviews of the iPhone Defender Case, and the iPod Touch Reflex Series Case. The company really wants my electronics to be safe! Let me tell you, I’ve tested those products with dropping, banging, and bumping and so far, so good. So when my daughter received her iPad2 at Christmas time, I knew immediately what company was protecting her investment!
The Defender Series cases for the iPad is the latest evolution of Otterbox protection. The Defender Series for the new iPad is also compatible with the iPad 2.Features:

- Memory foam pads cradle the iPad inside the case provide additional shock absorption

Material:
- Clear protective membrane on touch screen

Our take: Just like the other Otterbox products we tried, this one is a safe bet for iPad protection! The stand makes it hands free video/tv/gameboard for your desk or table, my daughter uses it in the bathroom to watch tv shows while she gets ready! Just like the Defender case for my iPhone, there is added bulk taking away from the sleek and thin profile, BUT if that means that my electronics are protected from accidents and my screens won’t crack, the bulk is the least of my worry. With this case, my two other children can use the electronics and we don’t have to worry about OOPSes! Right now the case is only available in black, that’s the only downside my daughter states, since she chose a white iPad, she’d like another color to enhance that, minor details.
The Defender case is available for $89.95 and is worth it!
