If you enjoy a glass of quality wine, where price also plays a big deal in your decision, you should try Barefoot.
Something I love about Barefoot wine right out of the gate is that it’s affordable and found everywhere. Even my local Target store carries the brand, so I can pick it up anytime, anywhere and feel good about the brand I’m drinking. Well before Barefoot sent me some bottles for this review, I’d been a fan, but I wasn’t informed on their amazing online community!
Not only does Barefoot make and sell delicious wine, they are passionate about giving-back to the community, organizations, and want to make the world a better place. How can you not feel empowered by this company?
We believe that we can both promote our brand and satisfy our desire to make the world a better place by partnering with various non-profits and pouring at various fund-raising events. Over the years, Barefoot has been a part of thousands of non-profit events and our popularity has grown along with our support of these ground-breaking organizations.
Interested in kicking off your shoes and having a fun time? Become a Barefooter. The Barefoot Republic is a place where all are welcome to share their stories, recipes, favorite photos, find out about Barefoot Wine & Bubbly events, check in with the Barefooters, Barefoot’s team of fun brand ambassadors, and learn about our wine and bubbly. Throughout the site you can play games, take polls, and other fun things to earn you “leis” which you can turn into Barefoot merchandise.
Now on to my take on the wine… I was sent a bottle of a favorite of mine, plus a new flavor that I’ve never tried. My favorite was the Pinot Grigio. I love a wine that is light and sweet and this hits the nail on the head for me. The fruity flavor goes well with any meal, last night it paired nicely with my chicken breast and salad. I admit I’ve had it before with pepperoni pizza, you just can’t go wrong! Now the new flavor they sent me to review was the Brut Cuvee champagne. Like the Pinot Grigio, the apple flavor prevailed and the gentle fizz had “after-dinner drink” written all over it. I loved it! I will buy it next time I’m looking for a special occasion bottle, or even to take as a gift to a friend! How about mixing it with some orange juice for a Sunday Brunch Mimosa?! (Thanks Southern Fairytale for that fabulous idea!!)
