BackUpSoles for those Aching Feet

When I was in New York a few weeks ago, I walked everywhere if I wasn’t on the Subway.  Getting around in a low heel for days and hours on end can kill the tootsies.  Luckily I had some BackUpSoles to try out and rest my aching feet!

My take:  I don’t normally wear heels, only on special occasions.  You can typically find me barefoot at home or with flipflops year round.  After a few days of hitting the streets of New York City my feet hurt.  Barefoot was not an option with the sidewalks being so hot in the summer and plus I didn’t want dirty black feet.  BackUpSoles are so comfortable, slip them on and it’s the next best thing to barefoot but with style and protection!  Upon first wear, they are curled up at the tip because they come rolled in a ball for compactness, they resemble little elf shoes.  After breaking them in, they conform to your foot and are just like the cutest slippers, but those you can wear in public and with your cutest outfits!  I told so many of my blogging friends about them and actually handed them out to try for themselves.

They come in 5 sizes, XS (3-4) , S(5-6), M(7-8), L(9-10), and XL(10.5-11.5).  Now I’m a size 8 shoe, the Medium is 7-8 and I found them to be tight on my heel to the point where the elastic made a mark.  I tried the Large (9-10) and they fit so much better and relieved the tightness on my heel.  If your size is on the higher of the two sizes, I would size up!  My daughter dances and after wearing tap or jazz shoes, she wants to stretch those toes out, these are really cute and you can’t go wrong with dresses or jeans!
