Old World Gourmet {OWG}’s Vinolicious Wine Mixes

Superbowl Sunday at our house is always a favorite of mine for trying out new recipes for food and drink.  This year was no exception!  It’s the perfect opportunity to have a group of men and women around to experiment on, and my selections this time around were a hit.

Thanks to Vinolicious!  Vinolicious is a fun way to turn a bottle of wine into a fun frozen flavorful drink to serve to those who enjoy them (and are over 21).  We had Peach Bellini, Sangria and Blueberry Pomegranate to choose from — for our crowd, I went with the Blueberry Pomegranate.

Our simply sensational frozen Blueberry-Pom mix is so scrumptious you will want a bowl and spoon!!  Just add our mix to a bottle of your favorite Red Wine, refill your wine bottle with water, mix well and freeze about 3 hours!  No messy blenders or ice.  Freeze and refreeze until completely consumed!

They aren’t kidding — it was simple to make, easy to serve and delicious to drink!  The flavor was great, especially when mixed with a simple red table wine that I had on hand.  
The next one I can’t wait to try (but want to wait for at least a few more adults to share it with) is the Peach Bellini, which you mix with either a white wine or your favorite champagne!  Being a fan of Moscato, I think I know what I’m going to be mixing it with.
