Happy Valentine’s Day, how about a delicious drink for you and your loved one to perk up the morning today or any day! The sweet chocolate and tart cherry makes for an amazing drink that you’ll love!
Chocolate Cherry Eight O’Clock Coffee Recipe
Ingredients
1 rounded tbsp Eight O’Clock Coffee Original or Colombian Coffee per 6 oz cup (for brewing) OR
1 Eight O’Clock Coffee Original or Colombian Keurig® K-cup pack
2 chocolate covered cherry candies (such as Cella’s)
Whipped cream and maraschino cherry (optional)
Preparation
Place the chocolate covered cherry candies at the bottom of the mug. Pour freshly brewed coffee from pot over candies, or, if using a Keurig® brewer, brew coffee over candies, and stir until chocolate has melted. Cream or milk is optional as this gets sweet and creamy all on its own. Top with whipped cream and a cherry for an added touch.
My parents have been drinking ground Eight O’Clock Coffee for a few years now and rave over it and got me hooked. I’ve had only tried the ground coffee and hoped that the K-cups made as good a cup of joe!
The original and 100% Columbian flavors are perfect for everyday while I am completely in love with the Dark Italian Roast! I always thought I preferred a light to medium roast but the boldness of the Dark Italian Roast has me addicted and out searching for more!
Right now I can only find most varieties of Eight O’Clock K-cups at Walmart (about 20 miles away), our local Target only has the 100% Columbian flavor at the moment. I love that I can make a cup of the perfect taste for me with my Keurig, but I’m going to have to buy my Dark Italian Roast online for now and there’s a fantastic deal going on at http://www.greenmountaincoffee.com/Coffee/k-cup-8-o-clock-dark-italian-roast!
