Toyota just unveiled their all-new 2014 Corolla and it is designed to impress. The new revamped Corolla has everyone very excited- including me!
Toyota held an amazing event in Santa Monica, CA to launch the 11th generation Corolla. Leading up to the big reveal, we ate phenomenal food prepared by celebrity Top Chef, Richard Blais. We also watched as aerial acrobats performed from ropes, hoops and a gigantic transparent pool that was floating above the crowd. A band of dancers also got the crowd hyped right before the 2014 made its way down from the ceiling. Of course, a Corolla unveiling wouldn’t’ be right without a surprise visit from celebrity, Adam Carolla!
In fact, here’s a video from the launch!
To say the Corolla is impressive would be an understatement. Toyota really elevated expectations with this 2014 model. The new model offers exciting and impactful styling, modern interior design with premium flair, longer wheelbase that improves ride quality and interior roominess. In fact, they extended the rear seat area so it’s 2.95 inches longer overall than the previous model to offer outstanding rear leg room.
One of my favorite features of the 2014 Corolla has to be the back seat area. Unlike most cars, the entire back seats fold down for easy access to the trunk. Perfect for more storage space if needed.
This new model targets over 40 mpg. If that’s not exciting, I don’t know what is!
The 2014 Corolla is the first compact car equipped with standard LED headlamps and all models are standard equipped with eight airbags and Bluetooth® hand-free phone and audio-streaming connectivity. The Corolla will be available in four trim levels (L, LE, LE Eco, and S) that offer a wide range of popular features to help distinguish each model.
The 2014 Corolla will elevate the consumer’s experience for the world’s most popular sedan with modern, expressive styling, a more premium interior experience, improved fuel economy and performance, and a strong menu of available features. Vehicle pricing, final grade content, and option packages will be made available closer to launch timing.

We’ve been considering getting a smaller car for my husband to commute and that fold down back would make this one a contender. We’ve always had wonderful experiences with Toyota, too.

The new Corolla looks so spaces and sleek. I like the clean lines and wonderful gas mileage. I can’t imagine seeing a transparent pool floating above my head.

Love the fold-down seats and the gas mileage! At over $4 gallon, I am hating that my SUV only gets around 18 MPG!
