What’s getting me through this chaotic, busy, and did I mention CHAOTIC Christmas season? Chocolate. LOTS of it! Fudge is one of my ultimate favorite chocolate desserts, I just love the way it melts in your mouth and there are so many ways to pep it up using flavors.
When it comes to chocolate and specifically fudge, I like mine pure and simple, smooth and creamy. But, I was craving peanut butter and thought, why not mix it together for a delectable fudge? Plus, watching the Food Network I saw a chef make fudge in the most simplest way, only two ingredients! I admit that I often don’t bake because I never have all the ingredients on hand, but two ingredients I can handle, and in this case, peanut butter makes three! I need my recipes easy and foolproof, so here’s what I made:
EASY Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge
1/4 cup Planters Peanut Butter
1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 tbsp. water
Pour chocolate chips, condensed milk, peanut butter, and water into a microwaveable bowl. Place in the microwave on high for 30 seconds and then stir. Return to microwave for another 30 seconds on high and it should be incorporated and smooth. Pour into a wax paper lined dish, I sprayed mine lightly with cooking spray. Refrigerate until firm, then cut into squares!
The fudge is incredible, if you love chocolate and peanut butter this is the simplest and fastest dessert you can make! It only took an hour to firm up, it’s perfect for the holiday parties and gift giving and it’s inexpensive to make.
