Kohl’s is one of my favorite stores to shop! It has fashion for the whole family, quality kid’s clothing for my 8 year old, men’s and boy’s for my husband and son, junior’s for my teenage daughter, and women’s and petites for me!
I love that the women’s clothes are age-appropriate for me yet stylish and up on the latest trends.
This Spring at Kohl’s the latest trends include:
dresses mixed media tops nautical stripes
roll cuff denim feminine blouses statement necklaces
pink dainty jewelry laser cut shoes and handbags
straw handbags floral accessories
I noticed tons of color on the mannequins primarily pink! Also the blouses were gorgeous, so many soft fabrics, bows and lace. I was drawn to the Jennifer Lopez line as well as the Lauren Conrad pieces, both showcasing some great roll cuff denim. I fell in love with this tan and black dress with the side tie ribbon!
As a work at home mom, I love the first opportunity to dress up and I particularly love dresses! With gift cards in hand I went shopping at Kohl’s this week and I chose an Apt. 9 maxi dress in black because I thought it would be ideal to dress up or down. See what I did in the video:
With the Dressy Look, I paired a statement necklace for color and glam. The laser cut wedges add height as I’m only 5’1″, but I really love wearing maxi dresses and skirts! The bows add a feminine look and is great for date night or a media event.
I paired a striped cardigan around my neck, put my hair in a pony tail, and added some flip-flops for a beachy casual look that I can wear to the beach of course, or even to a PTO meeting or just every day! Both looks can be completely changed up, for more night looks add earrings, different color chunky necklaces, or colored heels. For the day time, add a loose woven belt and a straw bag with flats and head to the mall. That’s the best thing about that maxi dress is that you can match anything to it!

Kohls used to send out $10 off a $10 purchase coupons but I have not seen any recently.
Love the very casual look in every outfit. When I go spring shopping I also look for style and colors that can match the Fall season. I just add a warm cardigan to my clothes!
