I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for the Waterfall Group. I received a gift basket and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
For as long as I can remember, my father has loved the great outdoors! Growing up we loved to take vacations in the mountains, head to lakes for boat rides on the water, and almost every time there was fishing involved. I have fond memories of renting a cabin near Donner Lake in the Sierras and heading out every day to the dock as my dad would load up his fishing gear and poles and head out for the catch of the day. I looked forward to these family vacations as a kid and aspired to create similar ones for my own family.
Next year marks my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, an amazing milestone that needs to be recognized in some big way. Now I know there are some things on my dad’s bucket list that can be checked off that still involve his love for fishing and outdoors, one of them is traveling to Alaska! We love living in California, but if my dad had his first choice of where to reside, he’d be in the Pacific Northwest fishing for salmon and smoking them in his smoker every day if he could!
One of the most famous fishing locations in the world can be found in Alaska’s Inside Passage. Upon some further investigation there are a few resorts in that area where you can fish King Salmon, Coho Salmon, Halibut, Ling Cod, Red Snapper, Black Bass, and Rock Fish which alone is a huge selling point. Add the words “all-inclusive” to the mix and you have an ultimate fishing vacation getaway fit for any outdoor lover.
