Photo Pie Backdrops

As someone with an at home crafting business, I’ve been looking for a way to photograph my creations that will look more professional and hide the “crafting chaos” in my small home studio. I’ve tried lots of DIY options, like hanging a sheet, using a homemade light box, etc. but to no avail. I felt like the background was detracting from the project I was trying to highlight. Recently, I came upon Photo Pie Backdrops. I was shocked at the number of inexpensive, custom photo backdrops that were available in many sizes to meet my needs. I opted for the 4×4 size as I typically photograph small craft projects as opposed to people. I LOVED the barnwood look and it worked perfectly to show off my custom creations. The fabric is heavy duty and doesn’t wrinkle. I can lay it on the floor or hang it easily with the drapery pocket.

Now, I’m thinking of many other applications. What a great way to take theme related photos at my kids’ school dances and special events.
