Having visited all the Hawaiian islands, they each off such unique beauty and beautiful landscape, I have a hard time choosing my favorite. Usually I stick with pointing out some of my favorite things on each island, when asked, and my husband and I have fond memories of visiting the Big Island of Hawaii, especially the Kailua-Kona area. Here is where you’ll find the Hilton Waikoloa Village, a popular and family-friendly resort offering island hospitality and beautiful vistas of Waiulua Bay. Amenities include three swimming pools; an ocean-fed snorkeling lagoon; waterfalls and waterways; locally inspired treatments at the Kohala Spa; the Dolphin Quest educational center; eight dining outlets; a Museum Walkway; the Club Keiki children’s program; Legends of Hawaii Luau; an 18-hole seaside putting course and an expansive tennis complex. Sound enticing? How about making plans for Spring Break!
The Hilton Waikoloa Village resort has partnered with Full Throttle Entertainment, an inter-active entertainment company based in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, to launch Operation Spring Break — March 18th – April 15th to fuel the fun this spring season. Every member of the family will be racing to participate in adrenaline-rushing activities, including:
- Outdoor Laser Tag — immersed in a live action, outdoor laser combat simulation, taggers/sensors feature military grade technology with amazing accuracy.
- Remote Control Stock Car Racing Track — experience the Thrills, Chills and Excitement while racing Sprint Cup stock car favorites on a banked speedway at scale speeds of over 200 mph. It’s a gas!
- Laser Shot Tent — players take aim and fire in a high-end hunting, marksman and arcade simulation, using exact replica laser guns and project simulations on an oversized 6ft. x 8ft. screen.
Available 10:00am-4:30pm daily, why not check the Big Island off your bucket list and bring the kids for a Spring to remember!
