I have to admit, I might be a bit on the crazy side to have done what we did recently! We have added two new puppies to our family of 6….making us a family 9 if you count the cat! And while we love our new additions, they also bring along with them their own mess! Here they are looking all cute, but do you see all those pieces on the ground? That’s the potty training pad they decided to tear up. Needless to say we need help getting these messes cleaned up quickly, so I was excited when I was given the opportunity to try out the NEW Swiffer Sweep & Trap that is available at Wal Mart.
I have used Swiffer products for years. My current favorite use if for mopping (and if it ever rains around here I will be doing a lot of that!). The new Swiffer Sweep & Trap works a lot like the original Swiffer Sweeper. You use the duster cloth attached to the Swiffer Sweep & Trap, so you dust while you pick up the messes. LOVE anything that makes my job easier! The Swiffer Sweep & Trap is to be used on hard floor surfaces, so I tried it out on our tile floors. I had no problem picking up wood shavings, hair from the dogs, dust bunnies left over from Christmas, and breakfast left on the floor by my children! The Swiffer Sweep & Trap doesn’t use batteries and is super lightweight. I was able to quickly and easily sweep up my floors and stay ahead of my dogs (which isn’t easy!).
My husband likes to do a lot of woodworking and our garage can always use some help getting cleaned up, so thought I would try the Swiffer Sweep and Trap in the garage as well. It had no problem picking up screws, bolts, and wood shavings. I did find the wood shavings also stuck to the duster cloth, but changed that easily and had a new one on in no time. With the bigger pieces in the garage, the trap filled up more quickly but it was easy enough to empty out the trap and continue cleaning up. The trap is also handy if you are cleaning up but wanting to keep something you swept up. It is easy to see into and retrieve anything you need to keep or to empty out after you have swept up your space.
The Swiffer Sweep & Trap is perfect for those in a household of 1 or in our case 9 with our furry friends! I might even be able to get my children to do their sweeping chores with Swiffer Sweep & Trap since is it so quick and easy to use. Pick yours up at Wal Mart this week and find out how easy it is to keep your floors clean with the Swiffer Sweep & Trap.
