I’ve mentioned it before, I’m the Blog Ambassador for the California Table Grape Commission. Part of my job was to attend a video shoot at RN74 restaurant in San Francisco where Chef Jason Berthold was working on a commercial and promos for the Food Network. Chef Berthold’s recipe included fresh California Grapes of course, and the whole behind-the-scenes footage was neat to witness. Chef Berthold was a pro behind a camera, and I was to film a short video of my experience which is now on Facebook and up for a vote. I was given a Flip camera to do the filming and then used Windows Movie Maker for the first time ever to put it all together, not bad for my first time!
Head over and check it out my video and the contest here, http://www.facebook.com/pages/Grapes-From-California/109742759120768?sk=app_208195102528120. I would love for you to vote for my submission (Jennifer) by first “liking” the page, clicking on my video, pressing vote, and entering your email address. No spam will come of it, promise, it’s only to record the votes, one per email address.
I have a great chance to win, one in three, and the winner gets a trip to New York City. My 12 year old is already calling “dibs” if I win, her goal is to perform on Broadway, so getting there to see it first hand is the first step.
Keep an eye out for more California Grapes posts from me as well, I have a good one up with recipes for black grape margaritas and green grape gazpacho for you to try out this summer!
I’d love your vote, thank you in advance!
