We love games in our family and with 2 Nintendo DS game systems, the fun is portable for our busy schedules! My husband and I grew up with Connect 4, Battleship, and Operation. Now we can share these oldies but goodies on the DS version of Hasbro Family Game Night!
Featuring a mix of new and favorite games including CONNECT 4, BATTLESHIP, OPERATION and BOP-IT, each game will offer original and new ways to play, plus wireless support for multi-player competitions. Just as Hasbro’s worldwide “Family Game Night” campaign is designed to promote the social benefits of playing board games with family and friends, the video game counterparts from EA can also pack in plenty of fun at such gatherings.
Our Take: It’s an added bonus, and extra affordable for us when we can have one game cartridge and play double DS/double player games. Battleship was a favorite of my husband and he’s taught my son to play. The game is so easy to learn and play it’s very true to the original board game. Connect Four is fun and fast and I’ve come out 50/50 with the computer, so it’s a fun challenge. Bop It is fun and like playing the old game Simon of the past. Tests your memory and reaction time, it’s a fun one. Operation is probably our least favorite of the 4 games. That buzzer sound as you touch the edge of the game piece cavity gets on my nerves like the real game did. The kids play it more than my husband and I.
This game retails for $19.99, and is totally worth the money!
