SOL REPUBLIC Tracks On-Ear Headphones Review

I have two daughters and one son. Being a woman, I remember and can figure out girls’ likes and dislikes at a variety of ages, I’ve been there, I’ve done that. I have a son who is almost a teenager and often times I’m stumped completely by his behaviors, likes and dislikes, and well just being a teen boy of course! Finally, and I’m so excited I know exactly what to get him this holiday season, so I can get MY pair back!

TRACKS on-ear headphones from SOL REPUBLIC are still a steal at $99 and pack amazing sound. I got this pair for review and they are the most comfortable on-ear headphones I’ve used. The fabric is silky soft against my ears and the headband is adjustable and has a pad for the crown of your head. I have sensitive ears and in-ear styles cause aches within minutes. My kids and husband can tolerate in-ear earphones, but I’m not a fan. Also I can’t hear anything but my music when I have these headphones on and I love it, yeah I enjoy a little tuning out once in a while! Bonus, I took them on my recent flight and all that airplane noise goes away, I love them. There’s volume control right on the cords so your electronics can be stowed and you’re hands free! My son has taken them over for his computer gaming and music. I want them back, guess what he’s getting under the tree?

Hickory Farms Gift Boxes For the Holidays

Around the holidays, gift giving and finding the appropriate gift can cause an added level of stress for many of us. For the past 60 years Hickory Farms has been providing holiday shoppers with options that not only present beautifully, but also taste delicious.

Hickory Farms’ gifts provide a wide selection of signature sausages and savory cheeses in beautifully packaged boxes and baskets. Most of us can remember receiving Hickory Farms at some point in our lives, and the fun of carefully opening and incorporating the delicious items into our holiday traditions. Whether that means serving the high quality foods to guests or enjoying them with your family, Hickory Farms believes that traditions matter, making these products a long-standing classic gift.

My take: I love Hickory Farms for the holidays, they are synonymous! I remember when I was young there would always be one at my parents house as well as my grandmother’s. The cheese, meats, nuts, crackers would always be a welcome treat at all the get togethers. My dad is a retired mail carrier and he would delight in receiving these packages from his clients on the job! This year we’re enjoying the summer sausage and cheese gift box ($40) with my mom and dad as an appetizer before our weekly dinner. Add some round wheat crackers and wine and the night has begun! Even my son drools of the beef stick, man that kid is not a picky eater, I love it!
