It’s not a secret that I love Tea Collection clothing.  I have reviewed the line myself and also the children’s clothing for my kids and it is high quality, gorgeous fabric, beautiful patterns, at a reasonable price!

Most recently we we thrilled to try out some of the Highland Holiday line in girl’s clothing and the boy’s collection.For my daughter we decided on a gorgeous mini dress with a Mexican Tile pattern.  I love the selection they have in this collection, being Mexican myself, I’ve grown up with the styles and patterns and I just adore them.  This vibrant dress was perfect for the holidays in the gorgeous red color.  I matched it with a pair of skinny stretch leggings for the colder months, and love that it has sewn in contrasting cream sleeves.  With the pants it looks trendy as a long tunic.  On a warmer day the dress can be worn with or without tights for a great look.  Both items were bought in a half size up to get some wear out of them and they fit great and will for another good year! This is my daughter’s second item in the girl’s dresses line and I’m really happy with the quality of the garment as well as the way they really hold their color and don’t fade!For my son, we chose the fiesta plaid shirt for him.  He normally lives in jeans and t-shirts, but for the holidays I wanted to have a nice dress shirt.  The colors are very different from the palette we normally buy for him, but it looked really sharp on him and he loved it immediately.  He can wear it a bit more casual untucked, sleeves rolled or tucked in with a belt.  The sizing runs a bit smaller if you ask me.  He’s normally a 10 and the sleeve length on the size 12 I ordered was just right. 

We received nothing but wonderful comments on the kids’ clothes this holiday season thanks to the Highland Holiday collection at Tea, and I think all the pieces in the line can be worn year-round!
