We tried both the roasted garlic bagel crisps and the BBQ minis. I love that they have 1/2 the fat of potato chips and less calories, but I have to say they are very salty for my palate. The kids loved them, the crunch factor and the flavor is not skimped on, but I’m really becoming sensitive to salt and these were overpowering for me. This summer we’ve entertained lots of kids and the easiest and most delicious snack we can make is anything that resembles pizza. It appeals to all of us and when paired with New York Style Bagel Crisps in Roasted Garlic it’s a great combination!
1 dozen whole New York Style Bagel Crisps (Roasted Garlic Flavor)
1 dozen crumbs from the Bagel Crisps
1 tsp pizza sauce per Crisp
1 tsp shredded cheese per Crisp
Place the Crisps on a cookie sheet with a extra piece to cover the hole so the sauce doesn’t drip through. Dollup the sauce in the center of each Crisp and top with a sprinkle of cheese. Bake at 400 for 4-5 minutes. I think the pizza sauce balanced the saltiness of the Crisps for me, and the kids gobbled them up, they are so easy to make, the kids can make them for me! Next time I’m going to use the BBQ crisps and add ranch dressing coated bites of cooked chicken for a cool appetizer!
