Our Take: Even with 3 other large supermarket chains in our very small town, the deals at Safeway take me back there each week. My kids are home on Christmas vacation and I stocked up with meals and snacks for them the other day. I was overjoyed to find a quick $10 savings on buying 4 boxes of cereal (with the free Club Card). Cereal goes fast in our family and $1.50 a box of the GOOD STUFF like Cocoa Krispies, Apple Jacks (with Fiber), Honey Smacks, and Pops, just made my day! Almost daily you can find homemade bakery cookies for $2.99, the best produce in town and right now Holiday Awards of $10 were given out for spending a certain amount in the store. Our last trip…we saved $30.02!! Thirty dollars! That takes care of another few Christmas gifts, you can’t beat those savings!

Shop at Safeway for all you meals, and checkout Safeway’s website made fun for the whole family…Festive Projects, Edible Gifts, Kid-Friendly Recipes, Leftovers Lounge, Decorating Tips and interactive Kids Gingerbread Man Game where they can make cards for the whole family as well as email savings and weekly specials.
