It may still be chilly outside, but my son doesn’t care, he wears shorts year-round and comes by it honestly as my husband is the same way. While moms are looking ahead to warmer weather and the appropriate season for shorts, Shaun White Apparel is bringing another season of warm weather apparel, swimwear and accessories to Target stores nationwide and Target.com.
Shaun has become known as much for his outfits on the slopes, as his high flying maneuvers. Young boys (and those that shop with them) can expect more of the trendy, affordable items as they get ready for spring. From slim fit chinos, to fun graphic tees, hoodies for the chilly nights and button down wovens for dressier days, there is a full wardrobe of options.
This season’s tees and hoodies use bright colors and fun graphics, while the Henleys, polos and wovens balance out the line in muted blues and grays. Boys will also have the opportunity to grab a pair of Shaun White Apparel boardshorts, to make sure they are looking stylish at the beach or pool. All apparel and accessories are designed by Shaun and his brother Jesse, using inspiration from art, travel, music, surfing and their own edgy style.
Sandwiched between two girls, my son is always getting tips on how to dress to look cool. He’s 12, often his eyes are barely open when he’s getting dressed for school in the morning, but as hormones and puberty are starting to kick in, he’s been definitely pickier on what looks good and is acceptable sixth grade attire.
The Snow White plaid shorts fit true to size for my son, are comfortable and stylish. Normally we tend to go for darker colors for pants and shorts for him, but the white is clean and crisp for spring and can be paired with a variety of shirts. This Summer of the Weird tee is perfectly quirky, pairs nicely color-wise and sure gets some laughs from friends. We have a few more Shaun White tees and shirts and my son says they are “so soft” so we know the material is great quality, the cotton breathes and is flexible for kids this age! I love that Target has style for boys, I’ve always had less fun shopping for my son than my daughters because of dull, plain clothes and Shaun White Apparel has definitely changed that.
