Dinner and a show takes on a different meaning at the Sugar Factory in Las Vegas.  We were treated to a feast for the eyes and stomachs when we sat down for a few cocktails, well…a few LARGE cocktails that is.

When you order the Sugar Factory’s signature drinks, they come in goblets the size of basketballs and are topped and surrounded by delectable candy treats!  Gummy worms, candy necklaces, gummy sharks, lollipops and blow pops just add to the stunning presentation!  Then the show starts, some people call it the best part when the liquid nitrogen goes in… the smoke spills over the goblets onto the table, cold and slow into your lap! The display and the reaction of your group and those around you are totally worth it, it’s like witches brew at Halloween, it’s ethereal and eerie, and downright cool! Take a look at it in action!

With names like Lollipop Passion, Hubba Bubba, Lemon Head, Blow Pop, and Jolly Rancher, you’re bound to find a drink you will love that includes premium liqueurs, fruits like melon pineapple, blood orange, and passion fruit, your favorite candy, and to top it off add a blast of liquid nitrogen for that cool “fog” visual.  Let’s not forget the food, it’s pretty darn good too.  After the alcohol and the sugar, I needed something to calm my palate down and I chose the Chinese Chicken Salad.  It was enough for two people, the chicken was tender and the greens crisp and light.  The ginger sesame dressing wasn’t overly sweet so that was a plus, overall a refreshing choice!My husband went hearty and to the beef lasagne with ricotta and parmesan!  I tasted it and it was rich and creamy and well, we both couldn’t stop eating it!  Then before we knew it, more sugar with a host of sweet desserts for our nibbling pleasure!You can’t go wrong at the Sugar Factory adjacent to the Paris Hotel on the Strip.  It’s the dinner and a show, before a show that will have you talking about it for days, weeks, and months after your visit!  The liquid nitrogen cocktails are a must try even if you share it amongst a group of friends!
