In 17 days I’ll be in Paradise. I’ve got my Teva’s. I’ve got my Maui Jim Sunglasses. I need a bikini. It’s just a must on the islands, whether or not I’ll keep myself partially covered, I need a nice tan and a great suit. Voda Swim combines style with a bit of enhancement technology in their Envy Push Up Bikini line and I was thrilled to try one out for my trip!

The Envy Push Up line by Voda Swim, the first swim suit line designed especially to flatter small-breasted women or to shape breasts by providing lift and support, has the kind of cutting edge style that satisfies the most demanding fashionista. Beyond their good looks, Voda Swim suits are designed to take on any beachside activity from sunbathing to surfing to volleyball.

Now the Envy Push Up style can give you the look of 1 to 2 cup sizes larger! If you’re not necessarily looking for bigger, you will be happy that the lift and support you may need from bikini tops is there too, looking just like a regular bikini, yet no painful underwires to worry about.

I love the traditional look of the basic triangle cup bikini top, so I chose Envy Push Up Hoop Halter Top to try. Larger breasts is not what I look for, rather the support and lift. I love the details of the gold hoops that match the bottoms I also chose and give it a little taste of bling.

I opted for the Adjustable Scoop Bottoms in black. A fuller cut bottom for the mom-body I have, yet with a pull of the strings they can go from mom to bomb! I love the ties on the side, they are feminine and sexy and I still have support for my tummy. My bottom half has always been easier to deal, I have a tiny butt, yet it contrasts with my heavier bosom. Finding a suit that balances that is my challenge and I’ve found a nice combination in the top and bottom from Voda Swim.

Voda Swim makes it easy for you to find the suit just for you, you can find a set or mix and match tops and bottoms to create your own look. I tend to like black swimsuits for the slimming ability of the color as well as it looks nice against my tanned olive complexion. One piece suits are available as well as tops in the tankini style.

It’s swimsuit shopping season ladies, are you ready? If you’re like me, I start to sweat when I think about buying a swimsuit. I start eating less and exercising more and suddenly go into summer-shock. What if we could find the “little black dress” of swimsuits that will love our bodies back? I think I may have found it.

The suit is known as the GiGi Swimsuit, and it’s designed for any woman who, post-baby years, is a little more self-conscious about their body. It’s not a miracle suit, rather it’s suit that aims to alleviate the horrors of swimsuit shopping happening so often during the spring and summer months. (Or is it this really an ongoing feud between body and dressing room mirror?)

The suit is very attractive and is made from a silky fabric from Spain making it really soft on the skin, and a bonus, the material has an SPF 50! Their unique 4-way stretch fabric is designed to pull you up taller, not stretch you wider!

My Take: When I tried on my suit in black, I grinned ear to ear. The halter top is so flattering and stylish, I felt like I was wearing a trendy suit. I wear an average C bra size and the top was just right without too much over-exposure. The back rests below the shoulder blades reducing “back-fat” and the ruching helps minimize my middle, my least favorite area! I do feel like I need to pull the back up higher, I guess I’m not used to it resting so low. I really feel good in this suit, and I think it was really important to pay attention to the sizing chart for the best fit!

Every girl’s been there. The cold dressing room, the terrible lighting, the myriad of suits in detestable prints, our white undies sticking out from under the leg elastic, our sun-starved appendages. It’s a sure recipe for self-loathing. Lucky for you, attention to detail is my forte. I’ve had a fabulous time creating a suit that truly complements almost every figure.
