The movie Winchester has me intrigued to no end. Maybe it’s because I visited the now museum/attraction, Winchester Mystery House, in the bay area way back when I was in grade school on a field trip. Or maybe because I took the extended Explore More tour last year and walked through the front doors of the mansion that haven’t been passable to the public in decades. Whatever it is, I think you’ll be intrigued too!

Built by Sarah Winchester, (Academy Award®-winner Helen Mirren) heiress to the Winchester fortune, it is a house that knows no end. To the outsider it looks like a monstrous monument to a disturbed woman’s madness. But Sarah is not building for herself, for her niece (Sarah Snook) or for the troubled Doctor Eric Price (Jason Clarke) whom she has summoned to the house. She is building a prison, an asylum for hundreds of vengeful ghosts, and the most terrifying among them have a score to settle with the Winchesters…
Written by Tom Vaughan and the Spierig Brothers (Jigsaw, Predestination) and directed by the Spierig Brothers.
