Our take: The 3″ VitaTop mattress topper came compressed in a box and when you unrolled the packing it unfolded right into it’s shape without any crimping. The room was filled with the soothing fresh scent of green tea, something they infuse to remove any foam chemical odor. The ventilation holes all over the topper are evident for air circulation, the overall texture of the foam was plush. For added protection of the foam and added comfort for us, each topper comes with a down-like slipcover that tucks over and into the mattress. Even before putting my fitted sheet on, I had to get on the bed and feel the comfort. It was like laying on a cloud! For the past 10 days, we’ve been so impressed with the topper! The foam conforms our bodies evenly and back and neck pain has been non-existent. After all these days, the green tea scent is still very evident and seems to aid in falling asleep. We’ve had a few really hot evenings and by no means did we feel any added heat from our bedding! I find myself choosing my bed to relax on during the day over the couch!!
