It’s official, my new Disney movie is Tangled! For years, my husband and I both were in agreement that Aladdin was the best Disney movie, both the story and the soundtrack being something we loved and shared with our kids as they became fans of movies. Now the newest, and 50th Disney animated feature is the favorite of our five year old daughter, our 12 year old daughter, and my husband and I. For those of you who saw it in the theater will be happy to know that the DVD and Blu-ray comes out on March 29, and will make a fabulous Easter Basket treat!!

50th Animated Feature Countdown
We received the soundtrack to the movie Tangled as a gift soon after it was released. It has not left my CD player in my car and my youngest demands it played nearly every single time we are in the car. Which is alot during the week. Needless to say the 3 girls in our family know all the lyrics to all of the songs. Watching the DVD for the first time two nights ago was amazing, it gave me chills to see the songs played in the movie once again and my five year old watched with delight with eyes wide.
We threw a fifth birthday last month and the theme was Tangled, including a Rapunzel pinata, this movie is just the icing on the cake. Mandy Moore is delightful as Rapunzel, her amazing hair and sweet green-eyed face is tough and daring, and loveable. Zachary Levi, of NBC’s Chuck fame plays Flynn Rider and has some great one-liners, and who doesn’t love the “smolder?” Though she plays the villian, Donna Murphy’s Mother Gothel is superb, the lyrics to “Mother Knows Best” get me every time, and my little girl loves the line “…and I believe, you’re gettin’ kinda chubby! I’m just saying cuz I wuv you!” The animation, the lines, the story, and the music is Disney’s best in my eyes and I can’t wipe the smile off my face when I speak of it!
We were sent the combo pack for honest review!
