Headed to the Sierras last weekend. It’s been such a dry winter, the only snow on the ground was manufactured for the ski resorts.
In the sun, kids played with short sleeves and no coats. So strange.
Across the street from our cabin, the lake awaited.
Still and beautiful.
Though ice cold.
The beach full of flat rocks perfect for skipping.
Water crystal clear.
Wouldn’t you know it…
…only hours after we left. The snow fell.
There’s always next time.

I want to go to Lake Tahoe, it has been a couple years.
Even though there wasn’t any natural snow to be found until you guys left, it’s an exceptionally beautiful place from all your pictures!
