The fruit on a coffee tree, what most call coffee beans, are actually called coffee cherries that turn bright red when they are ripe and ready to pick. The coffee beans are found inside the cherry. Did you know that, I learned it our our recent trip to Kona. BTW Kona coffee is strong and amazing!
When first looking at the pic, I thought I would see cherries, and I was just thinking how those didnt look like cherries until I read the post. I think its cool that coffee beans are inside of these ‘cherries’
