When I was a kid, I loved the month of February for so many reasons! Mainly it was because my birthday was at the beginning of the month, but I also loved celebrating the 100th day of school, we always got two days off for president’s birthdays, and of course Valentine’s Day! My favorite Valentine’s day was last year. Valentine’s day is always hard for me since my mom’s birthday is on Valentine’s day but my hubby had red roses delivered and wrote me a poem. It was definitely the best.

My favorite memory is from last year. My son was finally old enough to make really cute crafts for family without much help. Also, baking special vday treats with my son and making his food heart shaped for the day.

I like flowers, on cards, in arrangements and in bouquets…I have many memories of hand-drawn cards with imaginary flowers from little children.
When my husband and I were just teens and dating, he worked at a restaurant. And one valentine’s day, he surprised me with a dinner in the restaurant after it was closed for the night. He even brought his mom’s china dishes in!
My favorite one is when I was 6 year’s old. My dad picked me up from school and I had a red clifford the dog that I had gotten that day from scholastic and I would not put it down. We went from school to the local pharmacy to purchase a box of candy for my mom and I refused to let the dog down.
My favorite Valentine’s memory is my first ever positive pregnancy test after 7 months of trying. It was the best gift ever! 🙂
