I have to admit, I hate going to the doctor! Don’t get me wrong, my doctor is stellar, fantastic, wonderful, caring and I can go on and on! It’s just that I have a phobia about getting or being sick and hate when my kids are under the weather. I think it’s a typical mom reaction that when someone gets sick in the house then the worry sets in. Will I get sick next, with the other two kids get sick, is it worse than just the flu? Obviously I’m a worry wart!
Like I mentioned, our family physician is fabulous and we are thankful for that. What goes along with that is the experience we’ve had at the Target Pharmacy since we switched over from another store. I’d had our first and original pharmacy for years, since I was a kid living in my parents’ home. After being married and having my own kids, that pharmacy seemed to be slow, too busy, and the personal attention began to lack. When Target opened in our town, I switched over in a heartbeat and have been so pleased with the care and professionalism they offer which just coincides with our physician’s care.
There are so many things we love about the Target Pharmacy, the best being that they will now text you when your Rx is ready! Now I can drop off my Rx and shop the store, or even leave and get other errands done and know exactly when I need to get back for our medicine. It’s convenient when my husband has a Rx as well because they will text him at work (30 minutes away) and he then can relay the message to me so I can run by and get it for him! With our busy schedules, this has been such a great benefit to the Target Pharmacy choice!
Also, Target accepts most insurances making it easier on your pocketbook. A lot of prescriptions we have allow for generics and they are offered at great prices. But, those that are not, we still can get what we need for our ailments, but not break the bank. This is extremely convenient as we basically live on one major income, thanks to insurance!
It’s so easy to convert to Target Pharmacy, read below plus all the fabulous benefits to being a Target Pharmacy customer!

I hate hate Walmart never has my prescriptions ready when they are supposed to. I updated my insurance info and phone number with them and they messed it up and made getting the next prescription a huge hassle. So, it seems target may be a better option for us.
they are a bit quicker than walmart
