See’s Candy reminds me of the holidays. It’s always been the treat for Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and Easter that is always a rich, sweet experience. Since my kids have been in school, it’s been a big part of school fundraisers year-round, I love that they support education while providing a consistently delicious product. Even more special is that everyone in my family, including my father who is diabetic, can enjoy something in their line of candy!
Have you tried the Mint Krispys? If you like candy canes, my youngest will tell you that these thin bites of chocolate covered-mint taste like the “most delicious candy cane ever!”
I love peppermint and these hard candies are yummy and I don’t typically go for dark chocolate, but this pairing is nice! Try keeping them in a bowl at your desk and seeing how long they last! They also come in Cafe Latte and Orange flavors.
During family gatherings, we always purchase a sugar-free option and recently for Valentine’s Day we included See’s sugar-free milk bars for dessert. My dad liked them, said they weren’t See’s regular chocolate, but at least he could enjoy them. They are made with sucralose rather than sugar. I tasted one and thought it was delicious, the kids didn’t notice a difference at all! I believe they have a richer taste so I couldn’t eat as much, which is probably a good thing!
If you like See’s lollipops, you’ll love the Little Pops hard candies. These can be kept in your purse for anytime you need a sweet mouth-watering pick me up. The assorted box comes with butterscotch, chocolate, cafe latte, and vanilla flavors. I love them all, butterscotch is my favorite with vanilla being too too sweet for such a little candy. The kids like chocolate and my husband also likes the butterscotch.
One of my favorite candies is fudge and See’s Nut fudge is one pound of creamy chocolate goodness with a large hint of crunchy walnuts! Boxed, shipped, and opened a few days after receipt and it tastes as it could have been made that morning! I love the freshness of the walnuts as well, they have a crunch and each square you nibble has a perfect combination of both!
