My youngest loves dressing up all year-round, but Halloween is special. Costumes for Girls are abundant and at Halloween you can wear them many different places like school, dance, parties, and of course on October 31st. This year I think we knew in the summer what she really wanted to dress up like, and she chose a Strawberry Shortcake Costume.
The Girls Strawberry Shortcake Costume features a pink dress with a strawberry print, a floppy bonnet with a pink top and a green visor and green striped tights. The costume is shiny, girly and as sweet as can be. She’ll enjoy wearing it on Halloween day as well as anytime she watches the show, or plays pretend on a rainy day.
My 5 year old usually wears a 5T or a 6 and I ordered the small (4-6) and it just fits, not too snug, not too baggy. The green striped tights have a shimmery sparkle to them and really add to the contrast of the polka-dot dress. Even though the wig is separate, the price on the costume is great and adding a wig is not too much more additional money. If you are like us and have a plethora of costumes, you may already have a red Ariel wig and that works too! I think the only thing missing from the picture I took is that she needs some freckles, easily applied with makeup!
I’m used to buying costumes and finding that even after some pre-Halloween wear you get frayed seams and torn material. This costume so far has held up being worn for a party and an entire weekend, my daughter wants to wear the tights to school! Priced right now for $26.90, you can find this great deal and other girls cartoon costumes at Wholesale Halloween Costumes.com!
