I’m humbled and honored to say that I’ll be heading to Los Angeles next month to walk the red carpet for a movie premiere on Hollywood Boulevard, for the third time!  The first time was for Lion King 3D in 2011 and then a second trip for Iron Man 3 back in 2013.  I can’t tell you the rush of excitement I felt walking the same path as Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow and then seeing them, I tried to soak it all in like it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.  Magic Pixie Dust struck again, this time I’ll be in LA for the premiere of Disney/Pixar’s Inside Out at the historic El Capitan Theatre.

24 top Bloggers and I will be flown to Los Angeles Sunday, June 7th to Tuesday, June 9th staying at the Sheraton Universal hotel. Smack dab in the middle of so many family events, I am so looking foward to a little ME time with the blessing of both my husband and kids.  And what a time it will be!

Here’s a synopsis of the movie’s unique story line:

Do you ever look at someone and wonder what is going on inside their head? Disney•Pixar’s original new film “Inside Out” ventures inside the mind to find out. Based in Headquarters, the control center inside 11-year-old Riley’s mind, five Emotions are hard at work, led by lighthearted optimist Joy (voice of Amy Poehler), whose mission is to make sure Riley stays happy. Fear (voice of Bill Hader) heads up safety, Anger (voice of Lewis Black) ensures all is fair and Disgust (voice of Mindy Kaling) prevents Riley from getting poisoned—both physically and socially. Sadness (voice of Phyllis Smith) isn’t exactly sure what her role is, and frankly, neither is anyone else.

When Riley’s family relocates to a scary new city, the Emotions are on the job, eager to help guide her through the difficult transition. But when Joy and Sadness are inadvertently swept into the far reaches of Riley’s mind—taking some of her core memories with them— Fear, Anger and Disgust are left reluctantly in charge. Joy and Sadness must venture through unfamiliar places—Long Term Memory, Imagination Land, Abstract Thought and Dream Productions—in a desperate effort to get back to Headquarters, and Riley.

If the red carpet wasn’t enough, we will join Disney Channel for a special screening of the highly-anticipated TEEN BEACH 2  starring Ross Lynch (“Austin & Ally,” and member of “R5”) and Maia Mitchell (“The Fosters”). As part of the event, to-be-determined Teen Beach 2 stars Chrissie Fit (Chee Chee) and Jordan Fisher (Seacat) will be present for an exclusive Q&A and dance lesson. Thank goodness my Zumba training will have me ready!

Teen Beach 2 will premiere Friday, June 26th at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT on Disney Channel and available on DVD with a never-before-seen dance rehearsal bonus feature.

My 9-year old is over my shoulder just saying over and over, “I wish I was you” because the fun does not stop there! We will also attend a special screening of Phineas and Ferb followed by a Q&A with creators and executive producers Dan Povenmire & Jeff “Swampy” Marsh and a summer picnic.  Plus we’ll be able to take photos with Dan, Swampy, and Phineas & Ferb themselves, okay my daughter is now superbly jealous!

Phineas and Ferb’s Last Days of Summer will premiere Friday June 12th at 9pm, on Disney Channel and Disney XD.

**Sunday night we will be heading to watch a live taping of Celebrity Family Feud starring host Steve Harvey!  Celebrities from the world of entertainment and sports will compete against each other to win money for charity.  Celebrity Family Feud premieres on Sunday, June 21 (8pmET/PT) on the ABC Television Network.

**Just before walking the red carpet, my fellow bloggers and I will be interviewing the one and only Kyle MacLachlan who voices the DAD in Inside Out!  I’ve loved him for years from so many TV shows, this is such a thrill!
