So I live in California, but mornings and evenings have officially dropped to the low 40’s. My husband started a new job over the summer that has him up and out of the house early leaving me to the crisp cool carpool at 7am. My youngest just started Kindergarten, so in my usual mom fashion, I walk her to the classroom and wait for the bell with her. Thank goodness I have my Land’s End Polar Thin Insulator Jacket to keep me cozy and warm on this brisk fall mornings.
I love just neutral colors, black and brown because they basically go with anything in my wardrobe. I chose the dark mahogany color and the coat fits so well. I have an old quilted vest that I love the look of and this jacket is very similar. It’s slightly tapered in the waist so that is gives a more feminine shape and not as boxy. I love that the pockets have fleece lining to keep hands warm and also they are zippered! I always carry my cell phone in my hands and don’t always lug a purse around so I can keep my phone, credit card, and keys securely in my pockets if need be!
The fleece lining around my body is nice and it isn’t overly hot when the sun does peek out. The bottom sits below my waist and bottom which I love as well as loving the extra fleece on the collar around my neck. I shot a picture of it below, I like wearing my hair up and that extra warmth around my neck feels soft and nice. The jacket is water resistant so I can feel dry in the rain or if and when we head to the snow. Overall I love the jacket, it’s light weight, not too bulky, cozy warm, and it looks good on. Land’s End never ceases to impress me with their quality clothing!
The jacket is on sale right now for $49.99 (regularly $79.50) and comes in 7 great colors!
