Our Take: We were slightly taken aback upon opening the box and pulling out all the 300 pieces. The Mega Bloks instruction booklet helped us tackle the challenge and the four of us worked together to build each room and put the mansion together.
We figured out a color sorting strategy that helped too, the process took just over an hour and with a huge sigh my six year old finally got started playing. The Mega Bloks are tiny and once snapped together they are tough to pull apart for little (and big) hands. There is often a struggle, but the payoff has been worth it. She’s really enjoyed it, has brought full size “mommy” Barbies to play with the minis, it’s been hours of fun and she looks forward to it each day after homework is done!
