Being a Forty-Niner fan has almost been as thrilling as the Twilight saga lately.

The quarterback controversy has made things really exciting!! So when I was given the opportunity to review Lil’ Teammates Collectible Team Sets I couldn’t pass it up. My son enjoyed his Teeny Mates and still has them displayed on his dresser.

• Contains all three positions: Quarterback, Lineman and Running Back.
• Attractive diorama display package.
• MSRP: $24.99

Deciding who the positional players was easy for us. The Running Back was Anthony Dixon and the Lineman was Center Jonathon Goodwin, but who would be the Quarterback?!?! Keap or Alex?!?!
There was some pleading by the older brother not to even open the box. The 12 year old tried to convince his Lil’ brother that he should leave them in the box so they could be “collectable and worth some money someday,” but his brother wasn’t having that.
Once he finally freed them from their twist tie jail my 10 year old completely enjoyed the Lil’ Teammates. He could be heard making random number, color, letter hut, hut, hike sounds all over the house. The figures are really sturdy and stood up to him banging them together. This time he did ask if we could get the Raiders too, so he could have a team to beat. :o)
So whether you prefer Colin Kaepernick or Alex Smith Lil’ Teammates can work for you. Heck – get 2 then you can have them both! Ultimately we choose Alex. We kinda think Coach should have stuck with the veteran.
