With the kids exposed to so much in the schools, we’ve gotten pretty lucky so far that a few sniffles have come and gone. With my new job in a Preschool, I have fared a little differently. I caught a head cold and sinus pain and was down for a good two weeks feeling miserable and we’re glad the kids didn’t pick that up. Now that we’re heading into Christmas vacation, everyone gets a chance to relax and take a break from the rush of school, work, and assignments. There is absolutely no time to get sick and our focus is to keep the kids healthy during the holidays!
Our go-to healthcare remedies that are always in the medicine cabinet include Children’s Advil®, Children’s Robitussin® and Children’s Dimetapp® and those are for when sick gets real. Icky symptoms need fast relief and if anyone is going pick something up this holiday season, we will be prepared.
I remember the sinus headache that plagued me last month and for the kids, Children’s Advil® Suspension (kids as young as 2 and up to 11) can work for my 11 year old daughter if the aches and pains occur. There are great flavors offered including a sugar-free, dye-free Berry that smells great, which is often half the battle when kids have to take medicine! My daughter has total flavor aversion, and I am pretty sure this will prevent her from holding her nose as she takes the medicine!
