Our Take:  Any mom loves outdoor toys when no-school-summer days get long!  What a fun way to get outside and play, in our back yard or at the park, these Zing Toys are reasonably priced and fun.  Taking turns with the bow, the kids shoot the arrows for distance contests, once they shoot, they run after the arrows, so they are getting great exercise the further they shoot.  The arrows are easy to load and even my five-year old had the motor skills to figure it out.  The zip-clip is smart and can clip on the bow or a belt loop to avoid loss. 

My son also likes shooting the arrow straight up in the air, tossing aside the bow and tries to catch them!  The one “stick anywhere” dart is fussy and doesn’t always stick, mostly to glass (I’m not a fan of that) not so much on walls or fences, but the kids didn’t mind.  In the back yard we have rules to keep the arrows from going over fences, and though they say it’s also an indoor toy, I don’t allow that for our kids.  The Zing-shot makes it easy to use with the prongs, but there are times when the kids accidentally shoot it back at themselves.  Luckily so far, we’ve only gotten giggles rather than “ow that hurt” comments!
