I’m not going to lie, when I had a freezer full of these tasty treats, I heard them calling my name in the middle of the night! I didn’t give in to any abnormal cravings, but when I did indulge, I felt good that I knew exactly what I was getting. Having done the Weight Watchers program before, I’m familiar with the points program, and having that labeled right on the front of the box was important, nothing to hide!
My absolute favorite was the classic chocolate fudge bars! At one point each these were also the favorite of my husband, though we both could NOT stop at eating just one. Let me make sure to tell you they are “snack size” bars, so they give that creamy, melt in your mouth upon first lick taste. But, one was just not enough for me and my husband, I craved more, so I could eat two in a sitting! In the picture of my husband, that’s after one bite, they are the two-bite-bar!
Next favorite was the strawberry bar, surprising for the chocolate lover I am. The bar is 2 points and it’s like frozen fruit, it’s so delicious with the bits of strawberry in it and tastes healthier than a dessert should! My son is a strawberry fan and he also loved these bars!
The cheesecake and dulce de leche bars are both low-fat and 3 points per bar. The tastes kick up “dessert on a stick” a notch, but for me I won’t buy them often because they don’t appeal to the whole family. I would buy them to share with adult friends though and don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed them!
I didn’t get the ice cream sandwiches, but those are something the kids and we both love, vanilla bean ice cream is my favorite vanilla, so they sound great. You must check your local stores for these new desserts!
