Do you know how hard it is for me to keep secrets? Especially once in a lifetime type secrets that I’m asked to keep to myself for nearly a year? It’s HARD! But, finally my last secret is out today about my experience at last year’s Iron Man 3 Event and it’s pretty amazing!
As you may remember, I visited the set of Captain America in Los Angeles last year and held the actual Captain America shield for this photo:If that wasn’t amazing enough, the group of bloggers and I sat and watched with bated breath as Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson strolled by us to and from the scene they were shooting in the Quinjet. We were given headsets to share and listen to the actors and directors interact and perform. Rehearsing their lines over and over again, I started memorizing them and felt like I could stand in for Scarlett and belt off those words…I mean I have the boots already on too!
There were breaks in the action as well, the actors would go back and sit in chairs and chat, they eat, they’d laugh and be silly. A few times another stunner, actor Frank Grillo who plays Brock Rumlow came and chatted with us. He was sweet and loved how we all batted our eyelashes at him when he spoke. What he said, I have no idea!
The pièce de résistance of course was when Chris Evans, THE Captain America was more than happy to meet with us and take group photos! WHAT?! The smile on my face is about as excited and genuine as it gets. I mean, he is so gorgeous and his outfit is completely amazing and well…see for yourself: Pretty awesome right?
The very scene we watched take after take, outtake joke after outtake joke is seen in the first 30 seconds of this extended scene just released today! It is ridiculously cool how all that time rehearsing turned out a perfect 30 seconds in the movie. Really makes you think of all the long hours Scarlett had to look at Chris and work on that shot. Hah. Sign me up! Check it out below:
